On November 17th, 10 students from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah (UIN) visited Japan. This program will be carried out for 5 years being a part of a grant credit operation by JBIC at the request of Indonesian government. Junior instructors will be studying and researching in the fields of public health or regional medication at Ph.D courses. Asia SEED will be in charge of coordination of this program.
Asia SEED staff attended to the team who arrived at the Narita Airport early in the morning and dispersed them to different universities all over Japan. Many people visited Japan for the first time and everything from weather to the transportation system seemed to be new to them.
We hope to support doctors of the younger generation who will be the leaders of the medical industry in Indonesia, and for them to enjoy the fulfilling research days in Japan.
